OBSERVATIONS
I wanted to approach this series in a minimalist, almost abstract style, which is a bit of a departure from my usual approach.
The colour palette used across the illustrations is muted and somewhat pastel, which contributes to a calm, reflective atmosphere. The objects and scenes are simplified, almost flattened, reducing them to their essential forms, which invites viewers to focus on the composition and the relationships between the elements rather than getting lost in details.
The illustrations also convey a sense of stillness and isolation, with many of them depicting empty spaces or singular objects devoid of human presence. Even in scenes where people are depicted, like the two figures dancing, there's a sense of solitude or introspection rather than social interaction, suggesting a blend of the mundane and the metaphorical.
