I came across Mrs. Beeton's Book of Household Management. The book, which was first published in 1861, illustrates an extensive guide to running a household in Victorian Britain. Knowing how much has drastically changed since then, I felt the sudden urge to blend the old with the new. Using the layout of images found in the book and juxtaposing them with modern flower arrangements while using a mix of strong colours.
